From Translator's life

The key to a good translation is to transfer the content, emotion, meaning, and style of a text into another language in such a way that the reader there understands and feels the same as the reader of the source text. A translator has a special feeling for the language and a good sense of the country in which the language he or she is translating into is spoken. This enables them to translate a text correctly in terms of content, style and emotion.

Artificial intelligence is not sensitive to cultural, regional or everyday differences. It does not take into account the target audience and is unable to convey emotion. For this reason, a machine can only imperfectly perform a task as comprehensive as translation.

That is why it has recently adopted the world’s first comprehensive law on artificial intelligence. The law aims to minimize the risks posed by AI systems and to ensure that they are used in an ethical and responsible manner.

And that the plans that Donald Trump has already announced so far (…) are going to be extremely dangerous for us in Europe, but also for the Western community as a whole.
